RENOVATION GUIDES

Terms and Conditions

Explore expert renovation guides, cost insights, planning advice and practical tips to help you make better decisions at every stage of your project.

These Terms govern access to www.aurenoo.com and Aurenoo’s information, cost calculators, budget tools, quote comparisons, downloadable reports, contractor directory, newsletters, advertising and any consent-based referral service we make available. Aurenoo is an online information, advertising and referral platform operated from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. In these Terms, ‘Aurenoo’, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ mean the legal person or entity operating the website; ‘you’ means the person or business using it. These Terms cover the www and non-www website addresses and Aurenoo reports used away from the website.

Please read and save these Terms before using a feature. Where a form or paid order asks you to accept them, the identified version applies to that service. The four clauses under ‘Core protections and conditional liability limit’ explain the limits of free information and our role. Acceptance of these Terms, submission of contact details, or a report download is not itself consent to newsletters or contractor referrals. Those are separate choices under the Privacy Policy. The email and routine three-month review process below does not delay legal rights or mandatory response deadlines.

Important: Aurenoo provides planning information, not building work, professional advice, guaranteed prices or contractor guarantees. Verify outputs independently before committing money or work. Mandatory legal rights are preserved; the conditional AUD 50 limit is not a limit on every possible claim.

Your rights under applicable law

Nothing in these Terms, our Disclaimer, a report or any other website statement excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. This includes rights under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies and any applicable mandatory privacy, consumer or other laws.

This protection takes priority over every limitation, exclusion, governing law or jurisdiction clause below. Describing a service as free, informational or automated does not remove obligations that the law imposes on us.

Our role and service scope

Aurenoo provides general information and preliminary planning tools about Australian renovation. These include articles and location/category guides, cost estimates, budget planning, quote organisation and comparison, document analysis and downloadable reports. We also operate Google/display advertising, sponsored posts and premium contractor listings, and may offer newsletters and consent-based commercial referrals. Only the features actually offered at the time are available. Mentioning a future service in these Terms does not mean it is live, guarantee its launch or authorise using earlier submissions for that service. Paid advertising, listings and referrals remain subject to their agreed deliverables and applicable law.

We are not your builder, architect, engineer, building surveyor, certifier, project manager or legal or financial adviser. We do not inspect your property, prepare certified designs, procure building work, negotiate a building contract for you or supervise a contractor. We cannot commit a contractor to a quote or contract, and contractors cannot make promises on our behalf. Our role does not include assessing your ability to pay for a renovation.

Any renovation services contract is between you and the contractor you choose. You are free to obtain other quotes and are not required to engage a listed or referred business.

Homeowners and contractors are responsible for their own project decisions and for the duties applicable to their respective roles, including contract terms, site access, licences, insurance, approvals, safe work, payment, variations and warranties. Aurenoo does not assume those project duties merely by publishing information or facilitating contact. This allocation does not remove any duty imposed on Aurenoo by law.

Eligibility and your information

You must be at least 18 to submit personal details for a report, request contractor contact, order a paid service or register a business listing, and have authority to act for any person or business you represent. Provide accurate information and promptly correct material errors.

Do not impersonate someone, submit another person’s details without authority, generate false leads or request work for a property without the necessary authority. You are responsible for reviewing your submissions before sending them and for providing the information needed for the service you request.

Estimates, budgets and downloadable reports

Our estimates and budget allocations are preliminary planning information. They are not quotations, offers to perform work, fixed prices, property valuations or assurances of affordability. Amounts are in Australian dollars, AUD, unless another currency is expressly stated.

Outputs depend on the inputs, configured category rates, location adjustments and other assumptions used. Aurenoo benchmarks are planning models, not live offers from contractors or a survey of every local price. They may omit project-specific costs and may change with market conditions, tool settings or source information. Check whether GST, labour, materials, delivery, demolition, approvals, professional fees and contingency allowances are included. Obtain current, itemised quotations and professional advice before committing to work or finance.

Kitchen, bathroom, whole-home, extension, laundry, outdoor and other estimates use the category, location, dimensions, finish level and options selected in the relevant tool. A page may preselect a city or category; check and correct those selections. A city or postcode adjustment is not a site inspection, survey, live contractor offer or confirmation that local planning requirements have been met. Budget scenarios, charts, allowances and comparison benchmarks remain indicative even when presented in a personalised report.

Do not use an estimate, budget allocation or comparison as the sole basis for appointing a contractor, signing a contract, paying a deposit, borrowing, purchasing materials or starting work. A budget allocation does not establish that proposed work is structurally safe, approved or achievable. Your obligation to check information does not remove our own mandatory legal duties.

You may save and use a report to plan your own project and discuss it with advisers and contractors, subject to any third-party confidentiality obligations. Its issue date and assumptions remain relevant; saving a report does not lock in a price or keep its information current. Do not represent it as a binding Aurenoo or contractor quote. You decide whether to send your own copy to another person; Aurenoo does not include report files in contractor lead referrals.

Comparing and uploading quotes

Comparison tools organise information and identify possible differences based on the material supplied. They do not verify every figure, detect all omissions, assess legal enforceability or establish a contractor’s suitability. Automated extraction and analysis can make errors. Check material amounts, allowances, GST, inclusions and exclusions against the original quote and obtain written clarification from the contractor. A score, ranking, flag or suggested question measures only the stated criteria; it is not a quality endorsement, fraud clearance, compliance certificate or approval to sign the contract.

Upload or enter only material you have authority to use for this purpose. Remove unnecessary personal information, banking details and confidential material. You retain your rights in your content. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process it for the requested comparison, deliver the result to you, address support you request, maintain security and meet applicable legal obligations. This permission is subject to the restricted handling described in the Privacy Policy; it is not a general commercial licence.

For these Terms, comparison content includes uploaded quotes and attachments, manually entered quote details, extracted text, contractor-specific prices and terms, analysis, scores, comparison results and generated comparison PDFs. We do not sell, publish or provide comparison content to contractors, lead buyers, advertisers or other businesses for their use. We do not use it to train AI models, create commercial datasets or target advertising. Contractor-contact consent on a PDF-download form never authorises sharing comparison content.

Restricted hosting, technical handling and any disclosure legally required for comparison content are explained in the Privacy Policy. This is not permission to send comparison content to external AI or document-analysis services. A form selection cannot override the no-referral rule for that content.

PDF downloads and contractor-contact consent

A PDF-download form may collect the details needed to prepare or deliver your report. It may also offer a separate, optional, unticked choice to request contractor contact. You may request the report without selecting contractor contact. Downloading, accepting these Terms or providing a telephone number alone does not authorise a referral. General Aurenoo marketing requires a separate choice where consent is needed.

When you opt in, the authorised referral information may include your name, email address and telephone number, together with the calculator or project-search details associated with that particular PDF request that are clearly displayed and confirmed for referral. These may include the tool/report type, chosen renovation category, city/suburb/postcode and a short project brief. A project size, budget, timeframe or Aurenoo calculator estimate is included only when displayed as a referral field and expressly covered by your consent. We do not share your general browsing/search history, hidden tool values, uploaded addresses, contractor quote prices or any information derived from a private comparison.

Before consent, the form identifies the recipients or a clearly defined class of participating renovation contractors serving the selected area/category, the maximum recipient number, the exact fields to be shared, permitted contact channels and enquiry/contact period. Your enquiry may be supplied to multiple contractors, including competing providers, but only within that disclosed limit and scope. This is not a promise of exclusivity or of any number of replies. Where the required scope is missing or unclear, we do not share until it has been explained and accepted. Consent is not for unlimited distribution, unrelated offers or indefinite contact; it can be withdrawn through hello@aurenoo.com.

Where referrals are not yet available, report-only information is not stockpiled as permission to sell leads later. We do not rely on a past enquiry after its disclosed period has ended or its purpose is no longer current. A future launch, newsletter subscription or revised policy does not revive that permission; a fresh, specific choice is required before a later referral outside the original scope. We do not contact people to obtain renewed marketing permission through a channel where doing so is prohibited.

Newsletters and service communications

You may separately choose to receive Aurenoo email newsletters containing renovation information, new articles, tool updates and clearly identified sponsored or promotional content. We use your name, email address and any preferences you deliberately supply for that subscription. Newsletter signup and contractor-contact consent are separate, optional choices; choosing one does not select the other. Entering a telephone number does not subscribe you to promotional calls or SMS.

An unsubscribe link and hello@aurenoo.com are available for newsletter withdrawal. Aurenoo does not sell or supply the newsletter subscriber list to sponsors or contractors merely because they advertise with us. Necessary report delivery, order, security and material service/policy messages are kept distinct from optional marketing. The Privacy Policy explains each purpose, consent record and withdrawal process.

Contractor introductions and independent services

Where you select the separate contractor-contact option on a PDF-download form, we may review and match the authorised enquiry details to participating contractors within the consent you gave. If a separate quote-request form is offered, it must obtain its own specific consent. Referrals may be handled manually, through access-controlled exports or through a configured delivery process. Only authorised form fields are included; comparison content and PDF report files are excluded from every lead export and referral.

Contractors may pay us for access to an enquiry, a referral package, a listing or another disclosed commercial service. We do not compare every contractor in the market. Matching can depend on the service area, renovation category, availability and participation. An introduction, payment or paid position is not a guarantee of quality or a recommendation to enter a building contract. An enquiry is non-exclusive only where the homeowner has expressly agreed to multiple recipients.

We do not promise that a contractor will respond, that any particular number of quotes will be available or that you will obtain a lower price. If no suitable participant is available, the referral may not proceed. You may withdraw a request by contacting us; information already lawfully shared cannot be recalled automatically, but we will act on your withdrawal as described in our Privacy Policy.

Verify a contractor’s identity, licence where required, insurance, references, scope, exclusions, deposit requirements, payment schedule and warranty arrangements. Agree variations and commitments directly in writing. We do not hold homeowner renovation deposits, administer building payments, provide escrow or guarantee a contractor’s refund obligations. Payments for renovation work are between you and your chosen contractor.

Contractor listings and information supplied by businesses

Businesses submitting a listing must have authority to publish their materials and keep their identity, service areas, contact details, qualifications, licences and insurance statements accurate. Do not claim a licence, accreditation, endorsement or coverage you do not hold. Tell us promptly if information changes or a required licence is suspended.

You retain ownership of your listing materials and grant us permission to display and format them for the agreed listing and its promotion during the service period. This does not permit us to materially misrepresent your business. Public details can be indexed by search engines; removal from our website does not immediately remove third party copies.

Contractor details can be supplied by the business or obtained from other sources and may be incomplete or out of date. We do not continuously verify every profile or statement. Please report suspected errors to hello@aurenoo.com. A listing is not a promise of enquiries, sales, revenue, search rankings or exclusivity. A “verified” or similar label covers only the specific checks expressly described with that label. Paid or featured positioning must not be represented as an independent quality endorsement.

Rules for businesses receiving leads

Before receiving a lead, a contractor must expressly accept these lead-use rules and the applicable order conditions, whether through registration or a written agreement. A website login is not required for written acceptance. The contractor may use the enquiry only for the renovation request, recipient scope and contact channels the homeowner authorised. It must identify its business and comply with applicable privacy, spam, Do Not Call Register and telemarketing requirements, including applicable calling times and opt-out requirements.

The contractor must not resell, publish, sublicense or pass an Aurenoo lead to another business, including a related business, or upload it to an advertising audience. It must not add the homeowner to unrelated marketing lists. Access within the receiving business must be limited to people who need it to respond to the authorised enquiry. Any separate marketing relationship requires its own lawful permission; it does not retrospectively expand the Aurenoo referral. Permission to respond to a renovation enquiry is not permission for indefinite marketing.

The contractor must protect the information, respect withdrawals, stop contact when required and delete or restrict information when no longer needed, subject to lawful retention duties. It must promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access, use or disclosure and cooperate with containment and legally required notifications. A lead package never includes access to comparison content or report files. If such content is sent in error, the recipient must notify us, must not use or forward it, and must securely delete it unless retention is legally required.

We may suspend lead delivery or remove a listing for a reasonable privacy, licensing, safety or misuse concern, subject to applicable rights and any remedy due for an affected paid service. Contractors remain responsible for their own renovation contracts, communications and data handling; these rules do not transfer Aurenoo’s own legal responsibilities to them.

Responsibility for unlawful business submissions

A contractor, advertiser or sponsor that accepts a paid order must stand behind the material and instructions it supplies. To the extent lawful and fair, it indemnifies Aurenoo only for direct, reasonable loss and reasonable legal costs resulting from a third-party claim caused by that business’s infringement of intellectual property, materially false business/licensing claims, or unauthorised use or onward disclosure of a lead in breach of the accepted rules. Responsibility is proportionate to that business’s contribution and is reduced for Aurenoo’s own acts, omissions or failure to take reasonable mitigation steps.

This indemnity does not apply to ordinary homeowners, unsuccessful jobs, lawful complaints, regulatory fines imposed on Aurenoo, or Aurenoo’s own negligence, unlawful conduct or contractual breach. We must notify the business promptly of a claim, provide reasonable evidence and an opportunity to participate in its defence, mitigate loss and obtain its prior written consent to a settlement imposing liability on it, which must not be unreasonably withheld. We do not recover the same loss twice. Any applicable unfair-contract-term or other mandatory protection prevails.

Fees, orders and payment methods

Any fee payable to Aurenoo must be disclosed before you accept an order. The checkout or written offer identifies the service, price, currency, applicable tax treatment, service period and package conditions; the order confirmation or invoice records the agreed terms. Unless expressly stated otherwise, advertised amounts are in AUD. We make legally required total-price disclosures, including applicable taxes and unavoidable charges. Any permitted business-only tax-exclusive price is clearly labelled.

A listing or advertising order states its duration, activation arrangements, included locations/categories, placement or rotation, creative requirements and any expressly guaranteed deliverables. Sponsored-content orders state the deliverable, editorial control, commercial disclosure and agreed publication/removal conditions. No traffic, search ranking, enquiries, sales or return on investment is promised unless a specific measurable commitment is expressly agreed.

A lead order states quantity, delivery period, service-area/category criteria, whether authorised leads are shared or exclusive, any expiry or rollover, invalid-lead criteria and the available credit/refund process. Contractor package terms never expand the homeowner’s consent. Unless a different reasonable process is agreed before purchase, report invalid-lead concerns promptly with supporting details; statutory time limits and remedies are not shortened. We address demonstrably invalid or undelivered paid leads with an appropriate correction, replacement, credit or refund, including a refund where legally required. A genuine enquiry that does not become a job is not, for that reason alone, invalid.

At the date of this version, payments for paid Aurenoo services are arranged offline, normally by bank transfer or another method expressly accepted in our written order. We may introduce online checkout or another payment option later. Aurenoo may add, replace, suspend or remove payment methods for future orders, including offering offline and online methods at the same time. Use only a method actually offered for your order. The method, relevant provider, total price and applicable conditions are disclosed before you authorise payment.

Introducing online payment does not require a second payment for an order already paid offline, authorise automatic charging, or change an agreed price. For an accepted unpaid order affected by a method change, we provide reasonable notice and a practical alternative or any cancellation/refund remedy required by law. We do not require access to your online banking account.

Selecting a package is an enquiry unless the form clearly states that it places an order. An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance; a payment acknowledgement alone does not necessarily confirm that acceptance. If payment is taken for an order we decline or cannot fulfil, we return it subject to applicable law. Payment arrangements for Aurenoo’s listings, advertising and future referrals are separate from the homeowner’s building payments to a contractor.

When offered, online payment services may require their own terms, privacy notice, authentication and fraud checks. You must use a payment method you are authorised to use and provide accurate billing information. Your bank or payment provider may charge foreign-exchange or transaction fees under its own terms. Any surcharge imposed by Aurenoo must be disclosed before payment and comply with applicable law. Selecting a payment method does not give permission for unrelated newsletters or referrals.

For bank transfers, use the payment details supplied for the order and include the requested reference. We may wait for cleared funds before activating the service. Verify unexpected changes to payment instructions by contacting hello@aurenoo.com. Do not send banking passwords or card security codes to us. Aurenoo does not guarantee a third party payment network will always be available, but remains responsible for its own payment handling duties under applicable law.

A renewal or recurring payment requires your agreement to the amount or pricing basis, frequency and cancellation conditions. There is no automatic renewal merely because you previously purchased a listing or package. Cancelling future renewal does not automatically cancel an already agreed service period; the disclosed terms and applicable rights govern that period.

We do not apply a blanket no refunds rule. If we fail to provide an agreed paid service, we provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required by law. Other cancellation, rescheduling and invalid lead credit conditions must be disclosed with the relevant order and remain subject to mandatory rights. Buying a genuine enquiry does not guarantee a job. An invalid lead credit is not a substitute for a refund or other remedy required by law.

For a payment error, cancellation or refund request, contact hello@aurenoo.com with your order or transaction reference and the issue. Where appropriate, refunds are returned using the original payment method after necessary verification. Nothing here restricts a lawful chargeback, bank dispute or statutory complaint right. Payments made to a renovation contractor concern your separate arrangement with that contractor; Aurenoo does not act as escrow for those payments.

Advertising sponsored content and outside services

Aurenoo earns or may earn income from Google advertisements, display/image advertising, sponsored posts and articles, premium contractor listings, featured placements, consent-based referrals and any separately disclosed affiliate arrangements. Advertising income helps fund the free information tools. ‘Premium’, ‘featured’, ‘sponsored’ and similar placement labels describe a commercial arrangement, not independent certification, a workmanship warranty or a promise that a provider is best, safest or cheapest. We identify commercial content and positioning clearly where relevant.

Aurenoo is not Google, an advertising-network operator or the supplier of an advertised renovation product or service. A third-party advertisement, sponsor’s claim or external link does not appoint that party as our agent or make Aurenoo a party to its sale. Google and other providers control their own systems and terms. We retain responsibility for our own advertising representations, content decisions and other duties imposed by law; a sponsored label does not excuse misleading content.

Advertisers must have the rights to their material and ensure their claims are accurate and lawful. We may decline or remove content for a reasonable legal, safety, accuracy or website-integrity concern, subject to the applicable paid-service remedies. Our advertising disclosures do not remove our own obligations concerning misleading representations. Comparative or promotional claims must be supported; a sponsored label does not excuse an inaccurate claim.

Where listing or campaign statistics are provided, impressions, profile visits and phone or website clicks describe the recorded interaction. They do not establish a unique human visitor, an answered call, a qualified lead, a sale or completed building work unless expressly stated and verified. Metrics may be affected by repeat visits, filtering, bots or technical limitations; any specific paid measurement promise remains subject to the agreed order.

Third party sites, services and embedded features have their own terms and privacy practices. Review those before using them or making a purchase. A link or advertisement does not make us a party to your transaction with that provider.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may use the website for legitimate personal research or the business services offered. Do not interfere with its operation, introduce malware, bypass access controls, harvest personal information, submit unlawful or infringing content, manipulate reviews or impersonate Aurenoo or another user.

All rights in Aurenoo’s original website content, branding, software, tool design and original compilations are reserved to Aurenoo or the relevant licensor, subject to permissions stated here and rights allowed by law. Other copying, resale, scraping for republication or commercial reuse requires permission where those rights apply. This reservation does not claim ownership of your uploads, another contractor’s materials or your personal information, and does not override the Privacy Policy. Do not remove attribution or alter a report to suggest we certified work or approved a contractor.

Availability, service changes and suspension

We take reasonable care in operating the website, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or error-free results. We may maintain, update or withdraw free features. Save your own lawful copies of important documents; the website is not a long-term document archive. We will not retrospectively reduce an accepted paid service without an appropriate agreement or remedy.

We may restrict access or remove material where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a material breach, a security issue, a legal requirement or failure to pay an agreed amount. Where practical, we explain the reason and allow correction before suspension. Urgent protective action may be taken without advance notice. Any remedy for an affected paid service remains subject to applicable law.

Core protections and conditional liability limit

The four clauses below are subject to ‘Your rights under applicable law’. They do not exclude or limit fraud or deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breaches of mandatory privacy obligations, non-excludable consumer rights, mandatory refunds or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. They do not cap regulatory penalties or the powers of a court, tribunal or regulator. Each exclusion applies only where lawful and enforceable; none guarantees freedom from legal notices, claims or liability.

1. Information only; no professional undertaking or extra warranty

Free articles, newsletters, calculator estimates, budgets, comparisons, scores and reports are provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ for preliminary research, without additional warranties of completeness, currency, uninterrupted availability or suitability beyond the service description and applicable law. They are not binding quotations, fixed-price offers, professional advice, building certification or promises of savings, affordability, project success or contractor performance. Entering personal project details, selecting a location, receiving a branded PDF or obtaining help using a tool does not turn the output into a site-specific professional assessment or appoint us as your adviser, builder or agent.

2. Independent verification and responsibility for project decisions

You must assess the result’s assumptions, check your inputs and verify material information against current itemised quotations and suitably qualified advice before contracting, paying, borrowing, buying materials or starting work. A difference between an estimate and an actual price does not, by itself, establish an error or breach by Aurenoo. To the extent the law permits, we exclude liability for loss caused solely by your materially inaccurate inputs, unauthorised alteration of a report or use contrary to its stated limitations. Where responsibility is shared, any reduction is only to the extent permitted by law and does not transfer our own legal duties to you. This is not a statement that every overrun or reliance claim is excluded.

3. Independent contractors, advertisers and no personal guarantee

A contractor, advertiser, sponsor or other provider acts independently. No agency, partnership, employment relationship or guarantee arises merely from its listing, payment, advertisement, referral or appearance in a comparison. Subject to the protections above, neither Aurenoo nor its operator is responsible for that provider’s independent quotations, licensing claims, workmanship, defects, delays, damage, conduct, insolvency, failure to complete work or payment disputes solely because it used our platform. No owner, director, employee or contributor gives a separate personal guarantee of a contractor’s work or debts merely by operating or supporting Aurenoo. This does not remove any responsibility imposed on those persons or Aurenoo for their own conduct.

4. Excluded losses and the conditional aggregate AUD 50 limit

For free informational content and planning tools, we exclude indirect or consequential losses only where exclusion is legally permitted. Lost profits, business opportunities and anticipated savings are excluded only insofar as they are indirect or consequential; legally recoverable direct losses and mandatory compensation are not reclassified by this wording. This exclusion does not apply to paid services.

Where a monetary cap is lawful, fair and enforceable in the circumstances, Aurenoo’s total aggregate liability to you for eligible claims arising from free informational content and planning tools, including their generated reports, is limited to AUD 50. The amount applies collectively, not separately for each page, download, event or legal theory, whether the eligible claim arises in contract, tort including negligence or otherwise. It does not apply to paid listings, advertising, lead packages or other paid services, the matters preserved above, or any liability for which applying the cap would be unlawful, unfair or unenforceable.

To the extent the same protection can lawfully benefit the operator and people acting on Aurenoo’s behalf for those free resources, they may rely on it subject to the same exceptions. This does not create a separate personal immunity or prevent a claim against the proper responsible person. No separate AUD 50 allowance arises under the Privacy Policy or Disclaimer. If the cap does not lawfully apply, applicable law determines the remedies; legal costs remain subject to the court’s powers. Paid-service remedies are governed by the agreed order and applicable law, not this free-tool cap. Correcting or re-supplying a service cannot replace a mandatory refund or other statutory remedy.

Email requests and the routine three-month review period

Send ordinary requests for editorial changes, optional features, listing presentation changes or non-urgent website updates to hello@aurenoo.com. Identify the page or service, explain the requested change and provide relevant supporting information. Do not email a private quote-comparison file unless it is necessary for support you expressly request. For these discretionary requests, email is our usual administrative channel.

For a genuinely non-urgent discretionary request that we are not otherwise obliged to perform, allow up to three calendar months from receipt of the reasonably necessary details for review and a decision or an agreed update schedule. We may respond or complete work sooner. We may reasonably accept, decline or propose a separately priced scope for unpurchased work, with your agreement before any charge. This review window does not guarantee that every requested change will be adopted, require purchase of an update, or give a contractor a right to rewrite independent editorial content.

This three-month window does not apply to personal-information access, correction or deletion requests; consent withdrawal; marketing opt-outs; privacy or security incidents; materially misleading, unlawful or unsafe content; inaccurate licensing claims; statutory complaints; required takedowns; cancellation/refund rights; paid-service delivery or correction obligations; or court, regulator and other mandatory deadlines. We assess those matters promptly and act within the applicable legal or agreed period, including restricting affected content while a serious concern is checked where appropriate. A legal duty can arise without an email from you.

Email is encouraged for a clear record, not imposed as the only way to exercise a legal right. You may use an applicable unsubscribe facility, another valid contact route or formal service required by law. The three-month window is not a standstill on claims, a limitation period, a defence to known errors or a condition requiring you to wait before obtaining advice, reporting a concern or seeking lawful relief.

Complaints, governing law and courts

Please contact hello@aurenoo.com with the facts, relevant report date or order reference and the outcome sought so we can investigate and try to resolve a concern directly. Where practicable, preserve the original inputs, report, relevant quote and communications. Contacting us is encouraged, not a compulsory barrier or waiting period before a complaint, urgent relief or lawful proceedings. Formal notices and court documents must be served as required by law. Neither a complaint nor receipt of a legal notice is, by itself, an admission or determination of liability; that depends on the facts and applicable law. No clause requires you to indemnify us merely for bringing a lawful claim.

Subject to mandatory laws and the section headed Your rights under applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of India. To the extent a choice of court is legally valid and enforceable, the parties agree that courts of competent jurisdiction in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or Aurenoo services.

This choice does not create jurisdiction where an Ahmedabad court otherwise has none. It does not deprive an Australian consumer or any other person of protections, remedies or access to another court, tribunal or regulator that cannot lawfully be excluded. It does not prevent a privacy complaint or restrict a regulator’s authority. Where mandatory law requires another forum or the clause is unenforceable, that law prevails.

Related documents and reserved right to update

Our Disclaimer explains the limitations of renovation information and tools. Our Privacy Policy explains personal information handling and choices; accepting these Terms is not a substitute for separate contractor-contact or marketing consent. A specific paid-service order may add agreed commercial terms but does not authorise additional disclosure of homeowner information or access to comparison content. The comparison-content restrictions prevail over a general content licence or referral description. No related document overrides mandatory rights in Your rights under applicable law.

Aurenoo reserves the right to amend or replace its Terms, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer and to update or withdraw free content, rates, assumptions, features and future commercial offerings for legitimate legal, security, technical, accuracy or business reasons. We retain the final editorial and operational decision on discretionary changes, subject to agreed paid services, required consents and applicable law. This is not power to determine a dispute conclusively or override a court, regulator or non-excludable right. All rights in Aurenoo’s protected material remain reserved as described under intellectual property.

Each revised policy identifies its version and revision date. It applies to future use from its stated effective date or, if none is stated, from publication, subject to existing agreements and required notice. For material changes affecting an ongoing service or information-handling relationship, we send an email to the current address supplied where we hold one and can lawfully use it, and place an appropriate website or service notice. An individual email is not possible for unidentified visitors. Minor editorial corrections, routine price-model updates and changes limited to new optional payment methods may be explained on the relevant page; any material effect on an accepted order is handled separately.

We give reasonable advance notice of material adverse changes where required and obtain agreement where needed. Urgent legal, security or safety changes may be made sooner, with appropriate notice when practicable. Necessary change notices are not newsletter subscriptions. The routine three-month period above concerns requests submitted to us; it is not a general delay before Aurenoo may fix an issue or comply with the law.

A change to an existing paid order requires appropriate notice and agreement where required; we do not use a policy update to reduce an accepted deliverable or impose a new charge retrospectively. Where a material adverse change is lawfully proposed and you do not accept it, applicable cancellation rights and any appropriate refund for undelivered services remain available. You may stop using free features before new terms take effect. Continued browsing is not consent to new personal-information uses or a waiver of accrued rights.

No policy revision, ownership change or general ‘all rights reserved’ statement converts past report-only downloads into leads, expands a previous referral permission, or permits existing comparison content to be sold or disclosed to contractors. Fresh, specific permission is obtained for any new contact-information purpose that requires it. The existing prohibition on contractor access to comparison content remains separate from authorised contact-field referrals.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it is ineffective to that extent and the remaining provisions continue where they can fairly and lawfully operate. This does not make an otherwise unlawful term enforceable. A delay in exercising a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms do not shorten statutory periods for bringing a claim.
